Success Mentors

Family Services of the Merrimack Valley is pleased to be the lead organization for the "Massachusetts Success Mentors Collaborative". The collaborative is a partnership between Family Services, Mass Mentoring Partnership, Springfield School Volunteers and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holyoke. These organizations have come together to implement the evidence-based "Success Mentors model" which identifies students at risk of becoming chronically absent and connects them with a school-based mentor. Ultimately, our goal is to increase attendance and school engagement. The Success Mentors program in Lawrence, Massachusetts will serve 100 students during the 2018-2019 school year at the Lawrence High School and the Arlington Middle School.
