Youth Empowerment Programming

Our Elevated Thought youth programming encourages students to examine societal issues, specifically the ones they see in and around their community, and pushes them to explore new ideas and creative solutions to social issues through discussion and debate, poetry, and various visual art mediums. History, philosophy, critical thinking, collaboration, public outreach, and organizing are all elements of the program. We believe that exposure and access to this type of learning can empower our students to lead and organize for systematic equality in education, their cities, and beyond. Limited seats available.

Engineering Outreach Program at MIT

Saturday Engineering Enrichment and Discovery (SEED) Academy is a five and a half year academic enrichment and career exploration program for public school students from Boston, Cambridge and Lawrence, Massachusetts who have a strong academic record and interest in science and engineering.

Each SEED Academy module focuses on a different technical discipline – from mechanical engineering to robotics to biological engineering. Through a hands-on instructional approach, students increase their mastery of academic subjects, strengthen their understanding of the practical application of math and science concepts, discover new academic and professional opportunities, and gain exposure to a college environment.
